Safety couplings for indirect drives

With indirect drives, the central axes of the input and output side are not on the same axis. All torque limiting clutches for indirect drives have a mounting flange equipped with six metric threaded holes. Toothed belt pulleys, gear wheels, flanges or other attachments can be attached to the coupling flanges with a high degree of concentricity and planarity accuracy.

The light weight of the safety coupling FHW-A is used, where lightness plays an important rule. Thank to the use of aluminium, this coupling has a very low mass moment of inertia.
