Telescopic rail

Rail
Synonym for teleksop slide, drawer slide, drawer rail, telescopic guide, extension rail.

Partial extract
The rails consists of two runs and can be extended up to 95% of the closed length.

Full extension
The rail usually consists of three runners and can be extended min. 95% to max. 120% of the closed length.

Over extension
Telescopic rail extensions with over-extension usually consist of 4 rail elements. The rail extension length is more than 120% of the closed length in the case of an over-extension.

Load value
The load value is the maximum permissible load capacity of the telescopic slides. This value is considered dynamic, i.e. during opening and closing of the rail and not only in closed position.

Nominal load value
Describes the dynamic load capacity in operation. The rails (450mm long) are tested in pairs in side-mounted position*, 450mm apart, to determine the maximum load (kg) for a pair.

Static load
Describes the continuous load capacity.

Vertical mounting / Lateral mounting
Lateral mounting of the rail on vertical plane.

Submounting / flat mounting
Is the designation for a horizontally mounted rail. Not all telescopic rails can be mounted in this position.

Cycle
A cycle is the one-time complete opening and closing of a splint.

Extension / extension length
The extension describes the distance a rail travels between its closed and its open position.

Front quick disconnect
The rail is equipped with a knob or lever at the front end, which allows easy separation of the rail parts.
